I am running to serve as Gwinnett County’s next Superior Court Judge out of a strong sense of duty to serve our community by protecting our families and our rights.

Growing up, my immigrant parents instilled in me not only the importance of education and the value of hard work but also a strong sense of duty to serve others in faith. Before law school, I received my Master of Divinity then went on to obtain my law degree. It was only through faith that I found the best way to dedicate my life to serving others—prosecuting those who threaten the safety of our communities and families.

As a career prosecutor, I have devoted my professional life to putting dangerous and violent offenders behind bars. I began my career in the Kings County District Attorney’s Office in Brooklyn, NY, where I worked my way up from prosecuting misdemeanors to gang-related homicides. I then went on to become a Senior Assistant District Attorney in Fulton County District Attorney’s Office Violent Offender Gang Unit where I handled cases involving murder, gang-related homicides, armed robberies, and narcotics trafficking cases. In this role, I sought from a jury the highest penalty allowed–a death penalty verdict.

Currently, as a Gwinnett Assistant District Attorney assigned to a special investigation unit, I prosecute complex cases, including murder, criminal street gang, and multi-jurisdiction narcotics trafficking. I also conduct wiretap investigations into interstate narcotics traffickers and gangs that are polluting our streets, working in conjunction with federal and local law enforcement officers.

Every day in Gwinnett County Superior Court, my job is to keep our community safe by holding those who commit terrible crimes accountable and honor the hard work of law enforcement officers who dedicate their lives to difficult and dangerous work.

During my more than a dozen years as a prosecutor, I learned the importance of being firm yet fair, the need to understand the nuances of the law, and, most importantly, the courage to do what is right. I am convinced that, for me, I chose to live a life of service, to use what I know, what I have experienced, what I believe and my conviction for others around me.

It would be my honor and privilege to apply my experience, knowledge, and integrity to serve you as your next Gwinnett County Superior Court Judge.
